First and foremost, I am a mother to three boys. They keep me busy, grounded, and constantly on my toes. Watching their growth and development—both as athletes and as people—shapes how I show up in every role I hold. Being their mom is my greatest responsibility and my deepest purpose.
My husband and I met at Wofford College, and we’ve been married since 2011. Together, we’ve built our life in Buford, Georgia, where family, community, and sport are central to who we are.

Soccer has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
I grew up playing at AFU (formerly West Gwinnett) and extended my playing career at Wofford College, where the game continued to teach me lessons far beyond wins and losses—about commitment, teamwork, resilience, and responsibility to others.
I began my coaching journey in 2000, while I was still at Duluth High School, working summer camps and assisting my high school coach with a youth recreational team. What started as helping out quickly turned into something more meaningful. I realized I loved not just teaching the game, but supporting kids as they learned how to communicate, handle challenges, and grow into confident teammates.
Over the years, I continued coaching at multiple levels, including returning to AFU, where I spent several years developing young players. In 2014, I began coaching high school soccer at Peachtree Ridge High School, assisting as a community coach. In 2019, I followed my head coach to Buford High School, where we continue to coach together today.
Across more than two decades, I’ve had the privilege of coaching and mentoring hundreds of players, coaches, and parents. Through all of it, one thing has remained constant: I genuinely love what I do, and I believe it is a privilege to work with kids.
My athletes have a way of becoming part of my family. I care deeply about who they are becoming, not just how they perform. I believe sports are one of the most powerful environments for teaching communication, accountability, empathy, and confidence—skills that last long after the final whistle.

Patience is the foundation of everything I do. Growth doesn’t happen on a schedule, and every athlete develops at their own pace. I believe in meeting kids where they are, giving them space to learn, and supporting them through mistakes without rushing the process. Confidence grows when athletes feel safe enough to try, fail, and try again.
Positivity is how I choose to lead. That doesn’t mean ignoring challenges or lowering expectations—it means creating an environment where encouragement, respect, and belief are constant. Athletes perform and communicate better when they feel supported, not pressured. A positive culture allows kids to enjoy their sport while still being pushed to grow.
Purpose is the “why” behind my work. Coaching is more than teaching skills or winning games—it’s about shaping habits, values, and character that last beyond the field. Every conversation, correction, and connection is an opportunity to help an athlete grow as a teammate and as a person.
Together, patience, positivity, and purpose guide how I coach, how I connect, and how I serve the athletes and families I work with—both within my teams and through the Growlete community.
